For over a decade, I've served in schools and medical settings to support families understand the linkage between physical and mental health, and find ways to live intentional, connected lives.
For the breadth of my clinical work, I've been a guest in Latinx communities, providing direct services to children and families, and also clinical supervision of bilingual, hispanohablante therapists. My ABC culture, and lived experience in Chinese languages, have been cornerstones in my work with others. I, too, navigate with being an insider and outsider all at once.
I continue community work serving as clinical director for San-Gabriel-based AYC, whose programs aim to empower low-income, immigrant, and at-risk youth, of all communities, to overcome barriers to success.
